Can I commission a painting?

Yes! Stella accepts commissions for portraits of people and pets, as well as landscapes. You can fill in the enquiry form on the relevant commission page, and Stella will get in touch.

What if I don’t have a good photograph for Stella to work from?

For both portrait and landscape commissions, Stella can arrange a photography session local to Buckinghamshire for an additional fee. Get in touch today to chat about your custom painting.

How is commission pricing worked out?

Pricing depends on the size of the artwork, the number of subjects, whether it's in colour or greyscale, and the complexity of the background. Standard sizes are listed on each commission page, and Stella can provide a personalised quote for anything outside those options.

Is framing included?

Yes. Black, white, or natural wood framing is included in the commission price as standard. You're welcome to opt out of framing or request a different style.

How long will my commission take?

Most commissions take between 4-6 weeks. Rush projects can be accommodated for an additional fee, but keep in mind that oil paint typically needs 1–2 weeks to fully cure.

Can custom paintings be delivered?

Paintings can be shipped within the UK or collected (for those local to Buckinghamshire). Delivery pricing will depend on the size of the painting. Stella can include the delivery fee in the initial quote.
